| Tatianna – Tatianna appears as a girl
of about 13 years old. She is rarely seen or heard from and has never
even been formally acknowledged by any prince or leader of the domain.
She is rumored to be able to shape shift into any animal she wishes or
even into a swarm of animals. Little is known of her and she keeps to
herself far from the other kindred of the domain. |
| Charlie Nash - Charlie has only been in Memphis
since 1999. He appears as a very rugged weather-beaten man, with long
gray hair very hairy ears, and almost permanently glazed over look.Charlie
doesn't speak much with other Kindred and just enjoys to talk with all
the local eclectic patrons of his bar. Charlie runs the spitoon dive of
a bar called Hair of the Dog. Charlie gives half price drinks to anyone
that brings their dog in with them and free food for the dogs. Charlie
keeps several mangy old dogs in the bar with him, and calls them all by
name. |
| Talin Wulfe - Talin is the Liaison for the
Council of Memphis. Talin travels to other domains over North America
and beyond as the official representative of the Council in dealings with
other domains, officials within The Camarilla, and other supernatural
creatures. She is also rumored to have had contact with influential members
of The Sabbat in her capacity as Liaison of the council. Talin is a student
of Noddist Knowledge, and has a habit of artistically and ferally presenting
the stories of Caine and the Cities. She hates the Sabbat and used to
head a Sabbat Task Force in Maine, though restrains herself due to the
nature of her position. |
| Xaviaar De Calais - The former Gangrel Justicar of the Camarilla, rumored to be in or around Memphis. There aren't any solid accounts of where he is or what his intentions are...only that they are around here....somewhere. |
| MALKAVIAN |
| Desmond Jones – Desmond claims to be
the “Pope of Orange Mound.” Desmond looks like an excessively
stereotypical pimp, favoring purple. His speech is very difficult to understand.
He’s generally seen with several women that he calls 'his bitches'.
He also claims to be an apostle and a man of God. He has a lot of influence
among the African-American community of Memphis and the African-American
churches, specifically COGIC. He owns several clubs in the city. He can
usually be found through one of the clubs he owns. |
| Jesus – Jesus is a very strange Malkavian.
He looks, acts, and sounds like the storybook image of Jesus. No one is
very sure of his origins, but he is comfortable with everyone’s
thoughts that he’s an insane Vampire. Oddly enough, he has more
influence than near anyone else in Memphis, and can occasionally perform
miracles with it. |
| La La - La La is a teenager Kindred who is Jesus' handler. She is the most kooky of the resident Malkavians, and has Kleptomania, but ONLY with office supplies. She is also a horrid gossip, and knows lots of things. |
| Lisa/Sally - An unseen Malkavian who keeps watch over the ducks of the Peabody. She has Split Personality, and is rumored to be very powerful, as she is ALWAYS there, night and day. All day. All night. She does not sleep. Period. |
| NOSFERATU |
| Gregory Tarkovsky Illyanovich (Gregor)–
Gregor is perhaps the most hated being in the domain of Memphis, while
also being the one Kindred that almost everyone else wants to have as
an ally. He seems, at times, to have almost omnipotent knowledge of events
(and people) in the domain and is believed to have an extensive system
of spies and blackmail to blame. He has served as the Keeper of the Warrens
and leader of his clan since the day he stepped into the domain, and the
other Nosferatu are terrified of him. He plays no favorites, regardless
of clan or sect. If you can pay for information, or if you're useful to
him, you're fine in his book. He plays the fool and jester in public,
but rumors of his cruelty to those who fail him abound, and it becomes
apparent that underneath the fool is a monster. Gregor is known to be
Sian's chief confidant, but also the Kindred Sian trusts the least, as
she has given him the half-playful status of 'smarmy little bastard'.
He would sell his own mother for a deal, and all that can be trusted about
Gregor? Is that he will be Gregor. His age and original point of origin
is completely unknown, as is in fact his name. His appearance varies based
on how he feels like grossing out his compatriots at the time. |
| Coll Collfrewr – Coll is a
former Archon in the Camarilla. After his term expired, he came to Memphis
with Desiree Patina and became her Sheriff. When Patina lost her mind,
he came into the coterie of Sian in Jackson. It is well known that Coll
is the one Kindred in the city that Sian will drop everything to see.
Rumors exist of a long relationship with Sian, but no one knows the truth. |
| Lawrence – Lawrence appears Asian, though
obviously American by birth, and seems to be about 20 years old. He is
meek and cowardly, though known for his skills with electronics, computers,
and pop culture. He is known to play Dungeons and Dragons, World of Warcraft,
and pretty much any other game that doesn’t eat him first. Lawrence
ends up doing all the other jobs that the Nosferatu don’t want to
do and is generally treated like dirt by the other Nos. He is usually
seen driving a Lime Green Vespa, and can be found at Cosmic Coffee and
Games. |
| TOREADOR |
| Lady Francesca Coeur Leon – Francesca
is a legendary beauty from Paris.She is not ashamed to admit that she
was embraced in 1653. She patently refuses to speak English, considering
it to be a base language, rather conversing in French or Latin. Poseur,
Patron of the Arts, and owner of Third City Enterprises, which contributes
30 percent of charitable funding to arts projects in Memphis, she is the
newest member of the Council of Memphis as of 7 months ago. She has only
3 ghouls which have been the same since 1968. |
| Jakob Malifesti –Former second-in-command of Francesca, also her grand-childer. Now deceased. |
| Thalia – A Toreador of unknown age or
generation, Thalia is recently from San Francisco. A very airy type, given
to ‘seeing visions’ and painting abstract art. She has an
uncanny knack of getting anyone’s true nature correct in a painting.
She is kind, mysterious, and a little condescending. She is a useful member
of the art community, but she is still believed to be alive in the mortal
realm. |
TREMERE |
| Janus Restab –
Janus arrived in Memphis in the 1950’s. He was the only loyalist
of his clan to remain after the city fell and became independent. He has
a strange relationship with Delassiel: he offers nothing but respect,
even going out of his way to help and gets snubbed in return, to no one’s
understanding. He does refuse to do “standard Tremere work”,
like testing blood, lie detection, etc. He will not take any amount to
do such things. He only appears in the possession of ghouls. His job is
the interrogator for the Eye of Memphis, and all fear him should they
meet him in this guise, never quite emerging the same, most never speaking
of it again. (Believed to be dead.) |
| Delassiel – Delassiel
is a rogue Tremere and has been in Memphis for some time. He operates
the rouge chantry in Memphis. Due to the frienships he's made, and the
fact that he still hates the Sabbat, he enjoys an uneasy peace here in
the domain, though he also knows that it would be unsafe for him to step
foot outside the domain. He stands about 6'2, with blonde hair in a well-groomed
ponytail down his back and several occultic amulets tradtitionally tucked
under his blazer, near his heart. He is kind and understanding, but unforgiving,
and his chantry is famous for it's tiny collection of rogue Tremere, the
first of its kind to exist for longer than 5 years at a time. |
| VENTRUE |
| Genevieve Norfolk - Genevieve was embraced
with her sister Jennifer in the 17th century in England by Sir Edward
Norfolk. They took his last name and began working in his brood to further
his interests. After quite some time, she was released and traveled with
Sir Edward to the Americas, to St. Louis in Missouri. She came to Memphis
in 1939 after the reclamation from The Thornes. She has expanded her holdings
over the years and once held the title of Keeper of Traditions for Memphis.
She's tall, with short brown hair, and usually seen in a gray business
suit, though she has a nice sense of humor and a smile. She has now taken up control of St. Louis as the Duchess. |
| Thunderc**t (TC) - TC was embraced Jennifer
Norfolk in the 17th century. She bided her time under her tutelage to
Sir Edward Norfolk. When she was released, however, she turned away from
her clan and joined the ranks of the Anarchs, eventually finding her way
to the side of Justin Corso. She arrived in Memphis in 1905 on his heels,
and hasn't really left the area since. When her long-lost sister arrived
in town, all hell broke loose, but at the current moment there is an uneasy
peace between them. TC has brown hair, worn in braids, and usually can
be found in overalls and a vulgar t-shirt. Can usually be hunted down
in Hair of the Dog or another bar. (Whereabouts Unknown - With Justin Corso) |

| Baroness Sian
Loren – The story of the resident Baroness is a strange
one indeed. She was born in Italy in the 12th century to an Italian Baron
and his Welsh wife. She was raised as the only heir to their holdings,
and carries still much of the teachings of this time. A line of tragedies
led to her eventual embrace by the ancient Erasmo,then a Pirate Lord,
now an Archbishop of the Sabbat. Immediately, Sian displayed a dismaying
stubbornness at the Lasombra way of life. For hundreds of years, she fought
with her sire, appalled at his lack of esteem for all creatures. She will
easily speak of these ancient times and of recent nights, but the middle
years are a mystery to most. Recently, it was Sian's dream to create an
Independant city in which all Kindred were respected, regardless of age
or clan. She once rescued the city of Memphis from the hated Sabbat, and
returned it to the Camarilla, only to be spurned. This time, she has played
for keeps. It might also be noted that no one at all believes that she
is truly motivated by a good heart. It utterly escapes them. It might
also be noted that she has sworn blood vengeance on her sire, though no
one really knows exactly why. Sian appears as an unearthly Italian beauty,
though some of the paintings in Greyhurst show a much plainer person.
When asked, she mutters incoherently about 'damn Tzimisce' and changes
the subject. She tends to wear black and white, and unless in public,
will only wear the garb of her time, most commonly a black surcote over
a white chemise and a tiny silver band through her hair. She also has
been searching for someone to teach her path, the Path of the Noble, to,
since her early days on her own. She hasn't found anyone yet. She demands
to see all new Kindred entering the city, as she likes to ensure that
respect is granted to all, as well as knowing the faces of her people.
So far, she is the undisputed Baroness of Memphis. |
| Alonso Solis - A quiet priest who runs the Immaculate Conception church. Little is known about Alonso, though no major conspiracies have sprung up during his decades-long habitation. |
| TZIMISCE |
| Viktor Danislav– This ancient-minded
Lord still considers himself the true ruler of Memphis, but allows Sian
to sit in his stead, or so Viktor states. He is believed to be at least
700 years old, and once ruled over a vast domain in what is now Ukraine.
There are rumors of ancient magicks predating the Tremere clan that he
still holds, though no one knows the truth of it. What is true is that
he has been able to make a true new home in Tipton County for himself
and his brood when the rest of his clan turned to the Sabbat. Viktor has
a maniacal hatred of the Sabbat and all of his clanmates that dare take
part in it. He has the noble bearing of a Voivode, but seems to have grown
very weary and very apathetic in the past years, his ruthless nature somewhat
tempered by the setbacks and defeats suffered at the hands of the Camarilla.
He rules his domain with an absolute iron fist. No kindred voluntarilly
live in his domain. Long efforts have created two revenant families: the
Smiths and the Starnes. |
| Ildiko Danislav - This strange
woman never quite looks the same. Face, eye color, hair length and style,
some change is always apparent, though she generally appears to be about
18 years old. She is social and rather vampy and feminine, though in a
predatory manner. She is unnaturally beatufiul to the point of true fear.
Her actions are not those of a true Monster. She is the 'face' of the
Danislav family. She handles business and Kindred affairs in their stead.
She sits in Viktor's place on the Council, but abstains from almost any
vote that does not directly affect her family. |

| Elijah Smith – Elijah Smith is an embraced
ghoul of the Danislav family. Elijah is a very large black man that takes
care of the Danislav's animals as well as oversees the Hillview Gardens
Trailer Park, where the Revenant families live. Elijah does occasionally
come into Memphis to take care of personal business, but it is rare. Elijah
also will train animals for other kindred, if they can strike a deal with
him. |
| GHOULS |
| Ross – Ross has been a ghoul for longer
than he can remember. His mistress, Sian, assigned him to watch over the
Sears Tower and it’s visitors long ago, when she took over the city
with her coterie. He, along with Jack and Lindsay, enforces the idea of
the Sanctuary law in the Tower, as well as the Elysium rules on floors
17 and 18. It is his responsibility to collect art for the Tower, as well
as manage it’s financial requirements, etc. He has many contacts
and influences, and hopes to soon earn his way into the ranks of Kindred. |
| Jack – Jack is known as a serial killer
in Memphis and the surrounding areas, and has been for 50 years. It is
his exclusive job to collect specific tastes of vitae for various Kindred.
His motto is ‘You don’t ask me, I won’t tell you. Here’s
what you need.’ He is especially liked by the Ventrue, and his prices
are never exorbitant. He is never caught. Be wary, though. He’s
never quite sane, either. |
| Lindsay – Lindsay is the newest addition
to the ghoul family of the Sears Tower. She was found as a runaway 20
years ago, and taken in. She proved an aptitude for loving old buildings.
She was set to work as the head maid of the Tower. Oddly enough, she’s
perfectly happy at her job. It gives her a bird’s eye view of everything
that goes on. She’s inherited her mistress’s penchant for
speed and information, though. Even Gregor can’t get what he wants
from her sometimes. |
| ETC. CHARACTERS |
| Mr. Wulfe - A ronin Garou hired by elder members of the city to keep the city free of other members of the Garou and Shape-changing communities. He also runs Wolfe's Bail Bonds, Pest Control, and Cleaners, which is a nice way of saying 'The Fixers'. He and his ronin may be hired for almost any job. Under the table, he also runs EGI, Elite Gaming, Incorporated. His company runs everything from Rat Races to Were-hunts for mortals, to any form of sick, twisted, and illegal gaming for your sycophantic sociopathic needs. He is known to be formerly from the Shadowlord tribe. |
| The Thornes - Known to be a relatively constant threat in the city, the Thornes have been their name in our sides since early on last century. They are comprised of Thorne himself, (who has been known to be about 5 feet tall, bald, and no eyes.) Greythorne,(who is known to be a Nosferatu), Whitethorne, (Who is known to be a woman and the most physically imposing.), and Blackthorne. (Who is known to be a Lasombra.) Once, there was also a Redthorne, though he is known to be dead. The Thornes have been responsible for multiple deaths of Kindred and Kine alike. It is unknown what their interest is in Memphis, but dammit they don't go away. Ever. |
